HO-scale OMI brass ACF 3-Bay Centerflow 4650 Covered Hopper w/6 Round Operating Hatches. Model was inspected and several loose parts re-soldered, car grit blasted, SC I base painted for weathering, painted a custom light white-ish gray to better follow the prototype 46209. The topcoat SC I custom paint was applied and before cured was removed with a custom blend of IPA/thinner for a textured paint surface. The car was clear coated and then custom lettered and flat sealed. The underside of the car was SC I painted black with parts of the SC I base rusty brown paint showing in areas. Trucks were inspected and de-flashed for smooth operation, painted with dry pigments added for weathering. Car ends weathered with dry pigments. Brass cut levers installed and brass airline installed and adjusted as needed. Car trucks adjusted for Kadee couplers height properly adjusted to NMRA standards and weight.
