HO-scale Overland Models Inc. NSC Canadian Grain Cylindrical Hopper. Model repainted from CP Rail Pacman scheme to the Wheat Grain scheme CNWX 100334. Model was grit blasted, sonic cleaned and inspected for loose or missing parts. Primed, painted brown and black with Scalecoat I paints. Lettered with Microscale decals and clear coated with Mr. Hobby UV cut. #58 Metal Kadee couplers with #5 draft gearboxes, height gauged to NMRA standards. Trucks tweaked for smooth operation.

HO-scale OMI Trailer Train TSH 75' Centerbeam Bulkhead Flat Car. Model was painted before with SC I custom green mix, inspected for any loose parts. Car custom lettered for BCIT 872080. Underside of car SC I painted black, trucks black while wheels painted rust. Car height adjusted for NMRA standards and weight. Car larger BCIT decals applied and clear coated and test run for operation. Medium light weathering added (heavier on undersides and ends, lighter on load area.)

HO-scale OMI brass ACF 3-Bay Centerflow 4650 Covered Hopper w/6 Round Operating Hatches. Model was inspected and several loose parts re-soldered, car grit blasted, SC I base painted for weathering, painted a custom light white-ish gray to better follow the prototype 46209. The topcoat SC I custom paint was applied and before cured was removed with a custom blend of IPA/thinner for a textured paint surface. The car was clear coated and then custom lettered and flat sealed. The underside of the car was SC I painted black with parts of the SC I base rusty brown paint showing in areas. Trucks were inspected and de-flashed for smooth operation, painted with dry pigments added for weathering. Car ends weathered with dry pigments. Brass cut levers installed and brass airline installed and adjusted as needed. Car trucks adjusted for Kadee couplers height properly adjusted to NMRA standards and weight. O-Scale Atlas Cast/plastic 2 Rail B&A SW9 rebuild and DCC upgrade. Original model stripped and grit blasted, 3 grain o wheat type bulbs replaced with multiple LEDs for working headlights, rear lights, number board lights, cab lights and dash gauge lights. Soundtraxx TSU-4400 sound decoder installed with custom made brass mounting bracket, current keeper and two large bass speakers (one oval under front top radiator grill and one round just in front of cab). Both had custom made baffles to ensure inside clearance. Model was painted with Scalecoat I loco black paint, cab interior painted with Floquil cab green. All grab irons, air hoses, and railings are Delrin plastic painted white w/Microscale decals for Boston & Albany #603. Extra weight added in fuel tank for improved tractive effort. 6 different color LEDs added in dash panel over the one white bulb to simply for added interest. S-scale Cast Metal American Flyer DC Pennsy 4-6-2 #312 Custom painted Red & Graphite with custom gold/silver lettering decals. Some parts were nickel silver plated. Drilled out markers to add LEDs for 4 front markers and 2 rear marker lights. Model was grit blasted and de-flashed with two large holes filled in with liquid metal alloy and white putty for pits in metal cast areas. All delrin wheel dents on flanges were repaired with white putty and sanded smooth. The engine is off to a third party for new motor and electrical re-wiring. (note marker light wires left hanging for model future re-wiring).

The trucks were heavily kitbashed with another OMI drive system, added sanding lines w/brackets. Drive line modified. Top two additional ditch lights added. 22 LEDs for working headlights, rearlights, duel ditch, exhaust flick glow, lighted 3 gauge dash cluster, cab, lighted number boards, front truck ground, & step lights. Loksound 5 intergrated decoder. Custom built male/female connectors, custom build circuit boards. Two custom built cab seats with two crew members added. Extra weight added in fuel tank for better pulling. Additional decals added to match prototype and custom medium weathering added. About 2 miles of electrical wiring added:( While this model was a lot of work installing all the electronics and making the trucks work, this was a rewarding build as well. Thanx Thom...

One cracked axle gear replaced, Cab heavily modified/painted green and fit two modified woodland scenics engine crew members, custom made cab armrests, custom made truck sand lines, custom made frame tool hooks w/bracket, working led lighted control stand guages, cab light, lighted side number boards, rear/head lights, Tsunami TSU-4400 w/TCS-4 cap-pak, 1" oval speaker w/baffel and under frame hooks w/bracket made and added. Manage to save original decaling on shell. Frame and railings had to be stripped and resoldered. Side railings were modified with top and side pins over the original simple top deck soldering, done for extra strength in handling model. Some extra weight added with frame strengthen to prevent center sagging from heavy motor (original had poor design). Hand oil painted weathering to reflect somewhere in time like the prototype. The model kept the original motor/gearbox which was in near-perfect condition. A custom made axle cam was made for the chuff sync. A Tsunami TSU 4 function sound decoder with current keeper and oval speaker were added in the modified tender. All-wheel custom made pickups, working Kadee scale pilot coupler, 3-man crew, and Soundtraxx tender connectors all added. Customer to finish touch-up painting and weathering.
