Installations: TCT likes to add weathering, figures & light detailing with Dcc sound for model animation.

Note: The smaller the space to work with.  The more of an artist I have to become to fit everything in.
DCC SERVICE

Adding a multi-function decoder with lighting & sound functions is greatly encouraged for better response and realism. I can install any decoder type in any locomotive provided there’s enough room to physically fit it in.   Brass & plastic models sometime have to be prepared inside the superstructure prior to decoder/speaker installations.  I recommend in most steam units the decoder be placed in the tender.  In some diesel plastic models only certain types of decoders will fit with minimal work to either the shell or the frame.  Others might still need a “b”unit or box car permanently connected to complete setup. Sounds can be downloaded to only writable decoders.  I can do most current ones .
Iighting & animations:

Installing functioning lights in locomotives & rollingstock allows for so much more fun interacting with your trains.  Some of the different lights to look for are:
Steam Locomotives:
Headlights
Number boards
Markers/classifications
Cab interior
Under running boards for Inspections
Fire box
Smoke stack
Moving Bell

Tender:
Markers/rearlight/steps
Figures w/lanterns

Diesels:
Headlights/rearlights
Number boards
Markers/classifications
Cab/instrument panel
Steps/walkways
Exhaust stacks
Mars/gyro/beacons/strobes/etc
Cab side brake indications
Fuel tank readers

Remote control units:
also have indications on side of cab for ground crews
Rollingstock:
End of train markers
Refrigerator motors of vans
Modern refrigerated reefers
Special height load strobes
Figures w/lanterns

Sound for cars:
Don't forget rollingstock has sound too! Decoder/speaker with sounds for that type of car.
Caboose:
Rear flashing light
Caboose interior
Markers/classifications
Figures w/lanterns
Pot Belly fire light

Passenger cars:
Interiors
Rear medallions/crests
Under steps

Equipment Test Videos & pictures:   The following are simple quick sound/light test videos demonstrating some of the options and possibilities that each model has available to it.
