Thom's Custom Trains offers a variety of complete services from the following list: O, On30, HO, HOn, N.
Locomotive/rolling stock tune ups- Starting with simply advising by phone or email on basic u-fix it's to a complete in house once over. I make sure the unit can articulate 22" radius' up... (ho-scale) twist thru uneven track as high as the height of rail you use or articulate from side to side thru normal crooked tracks. I make sure all wheels are in gauge & don't adversely rub on the frame or any stationary parts of the model while going thru normal operations. This is mostly for binds & shorts.
DCC repair & installations- TCT can install, modify, program or change any or multiple decoders for any engine/rollingstock.
Recommended top Dcc Sound Decoders are: Loksound, Zimo, Tsunami, TCS...
Painting- TCT can air brush or hand paint Brass, Cast, Plastic or Wood models or structures.
Weathering-TCT uses most weathering mediums-pigments, powders, oils, solvent/water/alcohol base paints with most technics-salt, hairspray, layered, grit blasted, dry brush etc...
Custom Builds/Scratch Build/Kit bash/Manufacturer Assembly-TCT does whatever is needed to achieve the end result. A custom built, one of kind, conversation building, interesting model to capture the interests and imagination of the viewer.
